“Equality” and “Fairness” :-)

The world certainly provides for some kind of "equalizers"...:-)
These are two different means of transportation. And, these are certainly “not equal” in terms of speed. These are most common vehicles here in the Philippines.
One is motorized- the tricycle; the other is pulled by a horse- the carriage or what we call the “kalesa”.
Looking at the picture metaphorically-
What could you possibly think about?
What kind of understanding or reflection could you possibly think of?
Hope you won’t mind sharing your thoughts,

both will reach their destination at a given time
maybe some prefer the classic sound of
hooves of a horse akin to music beat of chacha
and slow pace of travel wherein you can hear
conversation as well as respond; also enjoy
the scenery along the road.
motorcyle when you are in a hurry, well you
have to endure the deafening sound of japanese
technology and fill your lungs with carbon dioxide.
on the other hand progress came to us because
of inequality. people like belo is making lots of
money because of it. i work hard; i don’t
have that much. we try to compensate for
our weakness, our indifference …oh well life
could be so boring if theres no inequality.
i still enjoy looking at the natural beauty of
nature, artistic creation of the living.
thanks, it stimulate my mind. brilliant idea, so simple
but catching. that could be my mountain grown coffee?
orange juice please.
( picture is recent; i haven’t seen kalesa
in a long time; that’s upgraded, colorful too;
i don’t mind riding )

hehehehe!!! Thanks Manong Eugene,
i took this photo when we were travelling back from Piat (Cagayan). I was supposed to capture the scenery – but since the van was mobile- that photo was the result, lol!!
What strike me most in this photo is that- even two unequal things exists in one place at the same time ( and moving at that), there’s always a sort of equalizer- which is essential for the “weaker/less able”- something that weaker/less able entity could possibly use to “lessen the gap”, so to speak,
. In this case, TIME- as magnified by that precise moment captured in that photo- served as somewhat of an “equalizer”; and of course, that given opportunity and even the space as well.
In this photo- I captured that very moment wherein both vehicles, regardless of their speed and capacities, were in a parallel predicament- let met use my imagination a little bit,
because from that point on, anything can happen
Like say, the motorize vehicle could possibly run out of gasoline- therefore, passengers ahead would definitely ride on the buggy cart- the tricycle driver can’t move as fast as that horse if he’ll chose to just push that tricycle, eh?
Take note that in the photo- there’s no gasoline station, lol!!!
Thus, my realization while staring at this photo is that, in any predicament, there’s always a chance, and a choice for one- as long as that person would persevere in looking for that chance, and persevere more in using that to better him/herself. It will definitely make a difference.
